Today I was in reverse and I gunned it all of a sudden I hear thud thud thud! So I was like great there gos the tranny mount. But the mount is fine what gives

 

wheel hop?? can u be more descriptive?

 

It sounds like the drive shaft banding against the tunnel but that points to a bad trans mount but its a good mount.

 

If its in reverse, most likely wheel hop...


if its fine flooring it going straight then its nothing.

wheel hop is basically the axle hopping violently, shakes the car like a ****, and sometimes bangs in a few spots.

Don't floor it form a stop in reverse
