heater core

hey guys i have a 94 3.4 and i was wondering if anyone has ever changed their heater core and could tell me what all i need to do and all that good stuff. thanks guys!

It's not looking much different than my Ranger....I can live with that.

Drain some coolant, undo the hoses from the engine bay side (firewall), then undo a few bolts to undo the hatch under the dash and pull out the heater core.

I'd guess you'd want a catch pan there, too, to catch anything left in and around the core...

And as the Haynes would say, "Installation is the reverse of removal"...

According to the FSM on my 2000, disconnect the battery and wait 10 seconds.
