Hi, does anyone know why my '98 v6 un-modified camaro is sometimes hard to start ? Fot the last few months , in all climates, I sometimes have to crank several times while occasionally pumping the gas just to start the car. Then when it does start, the engine surges, or "revs" for about 25 sec. IE: vaaroom, vaaaroom, vaaroooom. I have replaced all plugs and ignition wires. I do have 93,000 + miles (mostly hwy) I do sometimes hear a low rumbling when I turn the key . Maybe a fuel pump? I am hesitant to go to the dealer because i have had several bad experiences there. I love my Camaro. (Just not as much as I used to). Please help ! Thanks, Chris

 

had the same exact problem with my car. replaced the fuel pump everything was all good
