Talking Had a realllly good time tonight with the Camaro.....yes the Camaro & NOT the truck

Couple buddies of mine went to the local Friday night car hangouts in the valley. Hit all three of them.

The camaro had the hell beat out of it tonight. The cats must be clean now I havn't driven the car this hard in one night........since hell.....when I got the car in 96.

Foot to the floor, 108mph for a long stretch, rpms at 5000......(trying to keep up with my friend's camaros)......02 SS M6, and a 95 Z28 ATI M6, and here come my MIGHTY 3.4

Nothing better than 3 camaro's cruising down the I-405 in the car pool lane. We had a couple Firebird's join in too.

What was better was seeing the two of them, stomp on it at a red light, and me behind one of them.....floor it too.......like I had a chance....come up from behind from over a block Then the SS did a big smokey burnout at the one place totally engulfed the car....then my buddy with the S/C.......started to do donuts and figure 8's in the parking lot..........and then it was my turn......one wheel burnout.......and just cruised away.

We had fun, had about 8 people walk by and say........."Nice Z28".......if they only knew what this thing run in the 1/4...lol

Had a good dinner, good friends........and good cars....it was a good night.......and nothing broke

........now as for the truck.....gotta find a new turbo for it.......cause ya see........Max here BLEW IT UP!

...can ya say Ball Bearing????

Just thought I would post a "good" thread, instead of the usual.....I broke my muffler bearings threads.

Well it has been a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooong time

Still having diesel withdrawals though (broke it last friday night).....just something about 900ft/lbs.....not sure what it is

Sure love how it handles with the 1LE's and the 99 Z28 suspension on it. A little different than the truck.....

I am suprised how slow your camaro is, does it have alot of miles or something? just sounds tired.

How do you get any traction on a pickup with that much torque? I have accidently pealed out in the normal V8's so I dont know how you grip with a suped up diseal.

Nah.....its not tired...just turned 66,500 miles.

As for the diesel.......it all about "skillz"

..........and a lot of wheel hop and axle wrap if I am not careful....but I have something coming for that....as well as a MUCH bigger turbo
