not neccesarily....

Yes and no.

The super charger will botl on mechanically to 3.8Ls in v6s, the problem is it will not fit in the the f-body. If you had the motor out of the car you oculd get the parts to get it ot fit relatively easily.

Fitment problems include the cowl clearance by the back of the motor in the engine bay, then the fact that the intake is would be facing the passenger compartment of the car so you would need to custom fabricate something htat allowed the intake ot come out the front.

Someone put a roots style blower on an lt1(I think off a lightening) so it can be done jsut gets pricy, may be worth going the normal super charger route on a v6(modified v8 supoercharger).

As for using the crank pulley off of gtps to mount a supercharger belt, that works, also you can use GTP internals with your 3.8L to handle the boost better, you may want to still look into aftermarket pistons for added strength.

That is a turbo from a Grand National engine. The 3.8L in the Grand National is completely different from the 3800 Series II in the F-body. It won't fit, unless you make a custom turbo kit. In that case, it just depends on how much money you're willing to spend.

Actually....

Yeah, you can get it to work. Eaton and I have talked extensively about this.

However, the fabrication costs are prohibitive. The cowl? No clearance issues. The firewall? No clearance issues - not like everyone thought - not at ALL...the blower is TINY. Injector placement and intake plumbing is a bitch, to say it lightly. That's a LOT of custom plumbing, etc... there's an LT1 car in Advanced Tech on THIS SITE that has an M112 blower installed on it, custom. I'm sure he could answer some of your questions, too.

If you could fab up a Magnusson-type pulley system, you could turn the supercharger the "right" way...but the custom work on THAT would suck, also...
