Grand Am parts on our 3.4's

jsut had a new idea. the new grand am's have 3.4 front wheel drive. and im sure they have to have some better performance parts than the ones on our camaros, you guys think that it would ever work good in our camaro's?

I know one guy is swapping Gen III aluminum heads and pistons off of the 3400 series Grand Am engine onto the 3.4L block. I can only assume there are more interchangeable parts.

BUT, parts form a fwd series II 3.4L will not work with oru Camaros

1st gen V6s have cast iron cylander heads w/ inline valves; 2nd gens have aluminum heads w/ sprayed valves. 1st gens are in some FWD and RWD, while 2nd gen is FWD only. Parts can be interchanged except for the ones I have listed.

That is directly from the GMPP catalog.
