Well the 2 Gs-C's and the two F1's are about done.

The GS-C's have 35K miles on them, the F1's about 30K.

Got three ways to go.....

1)Replace the tires only with 255's again. F1's and GS's are both about $200 a piece, so by the time its all done with taxes and all....$1000 ..........not my 1st choice.

2)Replace the wheels and tires with a set of SS-10spoke wheels and tires, 275's F1 from SLP (on sale right now ) total there....$1000 bucks again......but at least its a set of new wheels and they are 17's.

3)Replace them with 245's GS-C's takeoff....about $600 for everything....

.......well I guess there is a 4th way too....... what are your thoughts gents!

 

I would take #2.....I have never really been for a 255 tire.....but I guess the q is do you like how the 10 spokes look on your car?

 

or you can get Cooper Cobras....

cost me $425 for all 4 tires moutning balbanceing and $10 a pop road hazard for all 4.

many other things i woudl blow big money on to make my car look nice, like a paint job.

 

If I had a chance to get 275mm wide tires I would go for it.
I do about the same thing I get some of those 50,000 mile tires and they last 6-8months I buy them in pairs, I usaly get Good Years from tire rack.
I usaly need a new clutch after every 8th pair too.
