First camaro
First camaro
I recently got a 93 v6 3.4 camaro. I'm only 16 and its my first car so far. I was wondering what kind of small things I can do that wont cost tons of money to give it more power? Any suggestions? Thanks
Re: First camaro
First off, Welcome to CZ28 and congrats on the car. Is your car a automatic or manual?
Anyways, most people start off modding with a "cat-back" exhaust system and/ or a "CAI" or cold air intake. The cold air intake is basically a tube that runs from your throttle body to the front corner of the engine bay with a filter attached, you can make one with parts from Home Depot for about $60, or if you want a pretty one I suggust a K&N FIPK. The K&N FIPK for a LT1 fits a 3.4 like yours.

If you haven't done so already, check out http://www.firebirdv6.com . It has all the information you're looking for plus plenty more. It was among one of my favorite sites to hang out on when I owned a V6.
