I got my camaro in august of 02, and have just now decided to start doing some cool stuff to it :x. I was thinking about CAI + headers + flow master 80s for performance mods, and AR Torque Thrust II's as well as a grill insert for some visual mods. Are there any other basic visual or performance mods that I can do?

 

Good choices, the only thing I would change personally is the flowmaster to a dynomax. Dynomax sounds better IMO on the 3.8l and has higher gains. Do the header install yourself. Visual wise I think clear corners look really good on white and black cars.

 

I have a dynomax Super Turbo muffler, and it doesnt sound ricey at all, even at high RPMs. 3" tips help too. Some other things to consider:
Rear camaro inserts
Clear corners
Shorter intenna than stock
CAI
and the stuff u mentioned

Just whatever suits your tastes. Check out cardomain for ideas. Thats what I do.......

 

I just got done putting on a 3" LT1 magnaflow setup w/ pacesetter headers. Its got an incredible deep mellow tone, much better than the flowmaster cat-back.
