Yeah his might make it to be the fastest once he gets it tuned...

Fastest on juice is a 12.3, heads cam 3.8L.
fastest N/a 13.6 heads cam 3.8L
fastest supercharge 3.8L 13 flats
fastest turbo 3.4L 13.5s(still tuning 12 look attainable)

and Matts car named above is looking to be insane.

Shirls has the most potential to be the fastest, but its still stock converter, stock suspension. She is blown and juiced.

 

12.3 STOCK heads/cam/tuning with an 86mph trap at the 1/8th. It WAS an 11.8 run until I shifted 4'th half way down the track.

 

So then who has the fastest mph on the open highway? I just bought a 96 3.8 car and had a cage installed last week for some land speed racing at Maxton. I figure I'll run the v6 on a bunch of nitrous until it blows then decide what to put in it next. But, for now I'd like to get an idea how fast these things will go.

I hit 140ish, in my car with the t-tops off, and pretty much stock with a cutout.

 

outadated lance has the NA record now 12.48

 

I seriously doubt that. Not only 140 in a v6, but 140 in a v6 with the ttops OFF.

 

im no expert by any means but i know of a local kid who got clocked doing 135 in a v6 camaro and i know the cop who clocked him. i realy dont see a problem with a v6 hitting 140 but that just me

 

yup all yah need is flash from HP tuners and a few adjustments.... cars easy hit the 118 limiter with more to go

just because it not a v8 does not mean it can't top 130

Wasn't refering to a GN, was refering to an F-body, as in every post above.

 

he said V6 Camaro witch only came with 3.4, and 3.8l II
i'm sure hes looking for 4thgen anyway and i'm sure he didn't want to know about cars that had a GN put in them


also a TTA is NOT a camaro

any way as far as F-body Intense racing has the over all record with 9.5 full out all half backed drag car, i have the record for street legal cars.

i know there are some GN swaps into the f-body that are faster but the record is for cars with the 3800 series II motor

the fastest 3800 is a FWD car running 9.2 last i knew
