Angry Factory Alarm Help!!!

I have an urgent question, regarding my factory alarm system on my 96 camaro. I took my car to a local dealership about a month ago to have the keyless entry replaced. Ever since then the alarm on the car does not work. Also before when I locked the car it would honk twice now it only does it once. I am thinking the second honk was the arming of the alarm. My dad took it back to the dealership and they said that its not caused by the reprogram of the remote and want to order another aprt and I think thats absurd. Can anyone tell me how to re-arm the system back the way it was. Thanks ahead of time for any insight to my problem.

im not sure on urs. but my aftermarket alarm has a button under the dash that u have to: have the door of the car open, then hold the under the dash button, the put key in, press button 1 once to turn alarm off, once again to shut it off, then turn it on again then off again, then take key out, let go of button.

but since urs is factory u might not have the button under the dash so look it up on yahoo or askjeeves or somethin. good luck

I've got the factory alarm, and mine only honks once on the armming.

No, we don't have a button under the dash. Although the aftermarket system I put in the Monte Carlo had one.

I'm waiting on someone to scan the Alarm pages of the Manual for me. (I bought my car used, and it didn't have one) If anyone here would be willing to do that, that'd be awsome.
