ok so yesterday my car ran perfect and todayit seized upno warning nothing WTF? ......oil perfect level ,,no leaks....just had headgaskets changed. engine has 103000 miles on it but im stumped it gave no warning just bam run like **** then seized up

 

Hydro locked? It has been raining alot lately.. but we'd need more info. Can you turn the crank by hand? If not, do you hear any clanks or noise? What noises/actions did it make before it locked? Sure the timing chain did'nt just break on you? Any visible block damage?

 

nope crank frozen what exactly is hydro locked? engine was just serviced block is great no leaks

 

I have seen only once, the oil pick up fell of an oil pump on a GMC truck once.
Engine was done.
And on a motor cycle the pick up oil pic up screen got cloged by RTV sealant and it just ran worse and worse and before to long engine was toast.
I have also heard of plenty of engines being ruined by the oil pump loseing is prime with brand new engines or engines that have been sitting a long time. And they don't die right away.
There are just so many things that can do an engine.

 

the fuunny part is this all happened in 30 mins just all ofa sudden it started acting wierd making noises then whil iwas letting it idle it froze up. tech guy couldnt even crankm it by hand......if anyone knows were i can get a cheap 3.8 engine and trans id be appreciative
