exhaust question

i'm wondering if the borla catback exhaust that i'm ordering should be above a 3'' pipe or if i should just go with the 2.75'' pipes. The reason being i plan to put on a turbo or a supercharger later... so i hear that the 3'' and above works better with the turbo or supercharger. Does anyone know about this at all or had any experience with this type of mod. i'm just wondering for the long run.

if you are going to be doing a lot of motor work or be runnin a turbo or a supercharger 3" will be great . if not then that will be a bit excessive. an I pipe from a Z/TA will be fine for a V6 with bolt ons

are you sure that you are going to be putting on a blower of some sort, i cant count how many people have said they were going to put a turbo or a supercharger on their car, and never have. it you are sure that you are going to do a blower then i would say get a 3" exhaust system. 2.75" will probably be restrictive if you have a blower.

I dont think borla offers a 2.75 cat back, I have the 3" and that was all they were offering for the V6.

you can get an I-pipe from a Z or a TA, they are 2.75"
