Exhaust Question

Hey everyone im new so i appologize for any stupidity haha. I just bought a 96 3.8L V6 and it has a glasspack on it. The exhaust is single. I want to make it dual exhaust and put an SLP Loudmouth system on it. Is that possible or difficult?

Thanks

Re: Exhaust Question

welllllll. after thinking about some stuff, making it a true dual exhaust would be stupid right? its only a v6. Im not really sure. I wanted to make it a true dual exhaust but idk if that would be best. And if i didnt do that could i get a system, slp loudmouth, flowmaster or magnaflow, that make it sound nice but is single? sorry for my confusion and thanks for your patience haha

Re: Exhaust Question

Loudmouth is awesome and fun. I used to have it (parents made me ditch it because it was "too loud") just make sure you want loud. It'll sound like pure v8 until about 3000rpm and after that itll sound like pure indy car (well, maybe not that high pitch but close to that tone). Don't get flowmaster please for the love of god.

Cool Re: Exhaust Question

Thanks for your help! Im gonna do some more research and probably go with the loudmouth. A lot of camaro owners that i have talked were pleased with it. Hopefully it works out.

Re: Exhaust Question

I wish I still had my loudmouth. Now that I've going to be revving to around 6700 I'd love to hear how rediculous it would sound. Oh well, this new Hooker maxflow muffler ain't too bad.
