Question Engine Swapping Question - V6 vs. V8

I have a 1995 Camaro w/ the 3.4L V6 Engine, with standard trasmission. The engine is blown and cannot be rebuilt, so I have to buy a new one. I have found a salvage yard that has package including a Z28 Engine, manual trasmission, the wiring harness and computer for $2500.00. The question is, how hard is it - how much needs to be modified - to replace the V6 with the V8? Motor mounts different? Do I need a new rear-end and/or driveshaft? Is there anything else majorly different between a Z28 and a V6? ..or would the above be such a hassle that I should just put an aftermarket V6 back in it. I'm looking for power, acceleration, etc. What would you do?
