My Service engine soon light has been comming on and off lately. It comes on when I go onto the highway, so when the gas is floored, and the rpm's have gone up to about 6000rpm's. What might be causing this? Any Ideas? Thanks!

car doesn't act funny any other time? Could be any number of things. Get the car diagnosed........6K RPM's is very close to the rev limiter......could be just your style driving, and your car is complaining.

 

Autozone does free code scans. They should be able to tell you what code it's throwing.
