Engine Harness Help.

Ok so i have been having a problem with my 94 camaro the past few weeks. At an idle it seems to run great but on acceleration it will stutter some times. This problem has been intermittent which in turn was very hard to track the problem. The car has new plugs, wires, coil pack, air filter, PCV valve, EGR valve, fuel filter, and the pump was tested.

So i had been doing some reading on here and decided maybe it could be a timing or vacuum leak. I decided to check the vacuum lines for leaks, crack or breaks. Much to my surprise is the problem i found and need help with now. I found that on the passengers side of the engine my engine harness had touched up against the exhaust and burned not only the wire loom but the wires them self. So now i need to replace this.

My questions are this. First how do i disconnect the harness. Where are all the connectors located? and second is can i just cut out the burnt portion of the harness and splice in new wire? Any help with this would be great i have done alot of searching both on this forum, google without much luck for this motor.

Thanks in advance.

PS it is a auto.
