Does anyone else have a rattling noise?

if you are bending the heat shield down, and the muffler is under the heat shield, what is tapping on what.. cuz in my mind this isn't making much sense...

Mine is above the I pipe- right before it connects to the muffler. There is probably nothing touching. The vibration of the muffler may be inducing a vibration into the thin head shield material. I simply have to grab it an it stops (or bend it into a different position).

yeah this rattling thing doesn't make much sense to me either, ya know it can really drive you crazy. every time i get into my car it drives me insane AJ

same prob here...nothing is touching the metal...but it vibrates and makes the noise...if u touch it it stops...by bending it it stiffens it for a while so it cant vibrate like before.....wierd

Mine has a high pitch noise too but its bcuz of the jack and doughnut tire that is loose.

on mine the heat shield was giving me problems, when id rev high it would rezonate like a ****... so i had to screw the heat shield back into place properly with some slef tappin screws..
