I am still looking at used 98-2001 firebirds and I found a real nice formula. It is a 5.7 but it brought up the question, do any 3.8L's come with chrome rims?

Yes they do make 3.8's with chrome rims, I forget the package that includes them, but not that many people get them on 6 cyls. Usually you see them on Convertibles.

If you were buying a firebird, then I'm just curious... wouldn't you rather the 5.7 V8 than chrome rims? Of course, your car your choice.

I think he was wondering if any v6s came with chrome rims factory since a formula looks like a v6, he was probably thinking if it had chrome rims then its a v8.

 

Ah, I see. Those are sharp, how much would it cost to get chrome wheels on a Camaro? Once I get her up and running in tip top condition I want to look into that.

 

my 2000 firebird came with chrome rims,and the sport appearence package. the rims say abs in the middle and i think make them look dumb, so if u get a fb with the chromes, either change the centercaps, or get cooler lookin rims, like firehawks, or eagle alloys model 077.

 

Go to Firebatscave.com and order the chrome center cap overlays with the black bird on them. That's what I have. Makes a huge difference. I also got the chrome lug nut covers from SLP to complete the chrome look.
