Dirty Engine-Cleaning tips?
Dirty Engine-Cleaning tips?
I just got my 94 Camaro, its a really hot car, t tops and all, but I do have a problem
The engine is pret-ty brown, and I was wondering if there was any way I could clean it without takeing the whole thing out and cleaning them piece by piece
any help would be nice

Re: Dirty Engine-Cleaning tips?
Naw dude...piece by piece!
Just go to a auto shop, pick up some engine degreaser, cover your alternator and battery, spray the stuff onto the engine and hose it down. You might need a brush or something too.
This should be either in general f-bod or appearance BTW.

Re: Dirty Engine-Cleaning tips?
Detail shops can steam clean it. I prefer Oven cleaner, and then detailing spray if the engine is pretty dirty. Other than that standard engine degreaser will work.
