Cutout on a 3.8l?

Im lookin at some exhaust cutouts for my 3.8l but have no clue what it will sound like... only mods i have are slp cai and new catback exhaust.....
i am lookin to put the cutout before the cat... anyone ?

it will sound like azz. thats where i had it-before the cat. it will be loud and sound mean at idle, but once you you press the gas pedal it will sound like ****.
