Winter is a here, and the Camaro is going away for the winter. My friends just completed a custom turbo on a non-turbo model eclipse. They really want me to get my stuff together and do it to the 3.4l. I have a list of the stuff that looks needed, and some stuff I want to do as extras. For the turbo part, I am thinking to go with a T3/T4 turbo. Get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator from Holley, a FMU from vortech, spearco sidemount intercooler, 1g DSM BOV, MBC, LT1 stock injectors (24lb right?), intercooler piping, fuel pump. Extra stuff being rearend gears (3.42 or 3.73) and cover, QA1/Hal shocks/springs, 1LE front and rear sway bar, Transgo Shift Kit. I would also probably get the heads and intake manifolds ported/polished. I probably wont get around to all or much of the extra stuff, besides the heads and intake manifolds. Is there anything Im missing that is a must? Obviously custom headers and y-pipe, I have been looking around to see pics of Tiagos or another 3.4l turbo set-up so I can get an idea for the headers and y-pipe set-up. Tiago, I was also wondering, assuming you read this , how much boost you are running, how much boost is safe on a 3.4l with 72,000 miles, with heads and intake ported/polished.
