cracked box by the horn

So im under my car yesterday changing the oil when im looking around at my tranny mount (as seen in the post, why i cant burnout in my 3.8 auto).. I didnt get a chance to take the tranny mount off and look at it but i did notice something.

My horn is blown first off, i just a circular wire thats been cut and its hanging by my 2 horns. Right beside the 2 horns i see a box, rectangular looking, and its attached to the body.. It's cracked open and it has little cylinder looking things inside of it.. i didnt take the one i saw out in fear that it might be something important..

Any know what this is? The box was cracked in half

(PS: was made of plastic)

I would also like to know what this wire was going to.. I didnt see a place for it to go on my horn anywhere, but it was coming out of the same hole as the horn wires.

And just to let you know what i mean by my horn being blown, whenever i honk or power lock my doors with the remote, the sounds like a clicking noise like someone is beating on a box with a hammer "bang bang" i dunno maybe ill record it or something. sometimes it wants to honk / honk at lock like normal.. its just faint, but most of the time the banging noise occurs.

Thanks
-Torre
