Did you damage the little IAT wire? That is pretty much the only reason that I can think of and normally thats what the problem is.

It could also be that there is another problem that has nothing to do with the CAI. I'd check the wire first...

no ididnt damage the wire, i think the IAT sensor is bad, becuz the SES lite came on as soon as i drove the car. maybe i'll put the stock intake back in and see what happens.

Hey Green, does your car sound better since you put on the SS muffler? And can you tell a difference in HP/TQ? I have flowmaster, but an starting to question the sound. I have heard a Z muffler on a V6 and it sounded pretty good.

yeah i really like it, at idle from outside it sounds like a V8 but after 3000 it sounds like a V6. it only rasps when its its bin sitting for a while, but once it heats up it dosent rasp at all. i guess i felt a lil bit more throttle response maybe 3-5 hp at the most. with the CAI i just put on it sounds even deeper. u dont want a Z muffler u wantr the SS\ws6 one. the z one is restrictive.also to keep with the topic , i reset my computer and the ses light hasnt come ever since and the engine dosent jump at idle anymore.

I got a check eng light after i installed mine....
what i did is i took it on the interstate and drove for about 5 mi, and it went away, and this was probably unrelated but later that night it came back on and my third plug wire was loose
