Changing Valve cover gaskets

Changing Valve cover gaskets

Im getting ready to change the valve cover gaskets on my dsons 85 2.8..Do i have to take the intake manifold off to do that..?

No you don't have to take the plentum off.
I have an 85 2.8 and I have had the valve coves off with out takeing off the intake, It's a bitch to do.
You need a 1/4 drive deep and normal sockets in 3/8 or 10mm and some extenders and 2 U joints.
I didn't think it was posible untill I saw it done then I went and did it my self.
While your at it get some one to ajust the valves, that's why I pulled mine off.
I have put 3 engines in my car and can tell you alot about them.
