Can anyone tell me how to get the shift **** off of the automatic transmission consoles to change the center console in the 93-97 camaro style console? I bought a new console but can't figure out how to get the **** off to take off the shifter plate to actually take off the console. Thanks.

 

its real simple, on the front of the **** towards the middle there should be this little thing stuck in there just get a really tiny screw driver and pick it out, it's like a staple shape, after that just pull the **** straight off

 

Where did you get that console i need one because mine is very bad

what kind of console did u get? i swapped mine from a 96 to a 02 console...looks awesome and it was easy
