85 camaro 2.8 New cap, button, plugs , wires, coil, its getting fuel, cranks good.but wont start..catches every so often..timing chain is not broken, possibly slipped,..any thoughts..any one know which way to rotate the wires on the cap if it has slipped..thanks..

 

Did you check to see if your cylinders have compression?

if the chain slipped, the valve timing is now off to.

Changing spark plug wires around isn't gonna fix that.

 

Did you check for spark?
