Car Starts Then Turns Off

after installing my new thermostat I noticed when I start my car the engine starts for a few seconds then shuts off,the second time I start it it runs fine

its for a 3.4 camaro

I have the same problem! Except my tstat is stock. My starts, dies, then I start it again, and runs fine! No SES or check gauges. Doesn't seem to be doing any harm, but it's weird

Mines done that before too, after running my power wire for my amp. I had to let it sit over night before I could get it to actually run. It's odd

my car use to do that but when i went and had my intake changed it just stoped stalling out on me the first time but i also had all new gas line ,vacumline,and cleaned feul injecters ,

Ive heard of a faulty fuel pressure regulator causing simialr problems. You might want to check that out.

I had that problem, in my cases it was accompainied by a gas smell all the time. I replaced all the evap connections and this solved the problem.
