A/C Vents not working

When i turn on my AC it works good but the air only comes out of my defroster vents on the dash and at my feet, the vents pointing at my face dont work. Ive tried all the different settings and it still doesnt work. Any ideas?

You're probably losing vacum to the A/C control head. There's probably a loose or broken vacum line somewhere.

Had that problem a few times already. Its the A/C check valve. Its a black plastic T-shaped valve located on the pasenger side, near the firewall. It runs about 4 bucks. When it looses pressure the vents (which are controlled by the vacumn) revert to the default postion of floor and or defrost.

If you want a pic of it, searh in LT1 For "a/c check valve" and you will find a bunch of posts. Find one in which Shoebox replied and i'm sure there is a link to his site with a good picture of it. thats where i got mine from.

Easy fix, hope that helps
