Question bogging when stepping on gas

I have a 87 camara with a 2.8l v-6. i was out driving in our first snow and i noticed when i went to give my car a little gas the rpm's went up and backed back down and reved up again and boggoged back down. now i know for sure it wasn't slipping in the snow. and i just put spark plugs and wires and the new cap and rotor in it 2 days ago. soo it don't need a tune up. and i doubt its the tranny cause trannny's don't typically bog they just plain out slip and this did not feel like a tranny slip..my grandmother said about using drygas to draw the moisture out of my fuel system because of it getting cold soo qquick. but it don't seem to do it when i have it in nuetral but i guess having the load on the engine makes a huge difference on how things act. but anyone got any other suggestions or should i go by my trusty wise grandmother..?
