i had a thread a couple days ago pertaining to my engine running too hot. Well i rode aroudn for a little stopped...guess what.....my fans arent turning on at all. No wonder im running so damn hot. What to do?

i checked my fuse and that is fine so there is no problem there. I duno what else the prob is, should i just take it to a shop or what???

 

I would have to say the the temp sensor that tells them when to come on (thats how it is in the 300zx)

 

Ditto, it should be on the drivers side of the engine block. I had one of these go out and the temp gauge always shot up, we ended up taking it to the shop and it turns out that the car wasn't running hot at all, and the fans were coming on exactly when they were supposed to... this sensor was just putting the gauge off by 80 degree's...
