ive heard on a couple boards that some people use ATF in much the same way as seafoam, i was curious about this as i cant find seafoam anywhere in this town, so for those of you that use this ATF method, how do you do it? what kind of ATF? any pointers?

 

Where do you want to use it?
If you want to put it in the crank case you can use ATF.
I have used, ATF, rubbing alcohol based gas tank deicer, PD-680 industrial parts washer, a bottel of fuel injector cleaner, K-1 Kerosen, diesel, lamp oil, hopers #9 bore cleaner and maybe some others.
I put every thing above in my POS toyota I drive over here before the oil changes but the bore cleaner, I put the bore cleaner and most of these in my camaro.
The PD-680 worked the best, out of all these the hopers #9 is most like the PD-680.
