im getting a rattle sound everytime i give it a lil gas, anyone know what this could be? im thinking a bad cat.

 

Hello I have a 3.4 camaro which is what your signature says.I thought it was my cat.Anyways it turned out to be my y pipe that was rattling (they are double walled).Mine does it the worst at around 2500 rpms.Hope this helps.

 

check under the car and look at your exhaust right behind the cat.there is a heat sheild there and mine rattled like you say from rusting off.. tie it up with wire or take it off if thats it.
