Can anyone tell me exactly when they put the amber turn signal taillights in the camaro. i always thought it was in 96 when they switched from the 3.4 to the 3.8 but someone told me today that his Z was a 96 and the taillights were all red but i think he didn't know the year of his car at the time he was quite intoxicated

 

'95.5 -- Switch from 3.4 to 3.8 In CA and TX bound (auto only) V6 Camaros
'96+ -- 3.8 is base engine for Camaro

'97 -- Switch to rear tail lights w/ amber turn signals
