Am I missing anything??!?!

For a 99 V6 Automattic to a LS1 Automattic Engine Swap this is my list:

LS1 Engine
Transmission 4L60E Automatic w/Overdrive
ECU (Computer)
Wiring Harness
Fuel Pump
Radiator
Gauge Cluster
Cross member
Engine Mounts
Transmission Mounts
Heater Hoses
V8 Sway Bars*
V8 Shocks
V8 Springs*
Limited Slip Differential*
Exhaust System
Dual Cooling Fans

*Not Necessary for Engine Swap
Assuming that the engine comes complete with Exhaust Header, Throttle Body, MAF, Spark Plugs, Fuel Injectors, Starter, Sensors, Oil Pan, Belt Driven Accessories

Is everything correct?
Am I missing anything that I need do complete the swap?

you know an LT1 tranny wont bolt to an LS1 right?

i would sell your rear on ebay and buy a 12 bolt or something if you plan on modding.

I also need a 1-piece driveshaft
and I do not need to dual cooling fans, considering my car already has them, and I dont think i need a new radiator either

so the radiators are different?
I would assume that the fans are the same....my v6 has dual cooling fans on it, now whether they are the same as the LS1 fans, I dont know.

if you want to check just to make sure you have all the parts needed for a swap, email these guys and they'll tell you.

www.hpsalvage.com

They were more than helpful when I was planning on doing a swap myself. Plus, they have most of the parts needed for the swap itself.

Im hoping to have enough money to do the swap this summer. Im just debating on whether I wanna pay someone else to do it or not, considering the fact that I dont think I know enough about it, to do it myself. Plus, I dont have an engine hoist, or whatever you call it.

the radiator is DIFF. The mounting then for the fans is DIFF. So you need the LS1 fans and the LS1 radiator. You forgot the cam and converter though - since the motor will be outta the car you should do it now....and upgrade the valvetrain . You forgot the pedals since the throttle is cable controlled. You'll need the front harness too that goes from the 4 connectors on the passenger side, all along the front to the headlights and the fuseblock and what not so you can hook up the new cruise control. Or you can just stick with what you have and not have cruise control. Keep your rear springs tho. I think that should be it though. Best of luck It's well worth it and it'll be fun sporting around your v6 bird....hehe. Well until you get on it - then u can't hide it.

just remembered you'll need a new lid as the position of the LS1 and v6 are different. V6 is off to the side and the LS1 is in the center.
