I am having a problem with my air conditioner on my 2001 camaro v6. The air conditioner works but there is no air coming out of the front vents. I can feel air from the top of the dashboard vents and air coming from the bottom but there isn't any air coming from the front vents.

any ideas?

could it be a fuse issue?

any ideas on cost?

blower motor most likely......im having the same prob, except mine is with the heat...

 

doubt its the blower motor, since you can feel air comming out of the deffoger and foot vents. Its got something to do with the blendor motor. Not sure if on the newer camaros if they still have the vacume style beldor controle or wether or not its been upgraded to like an electricmotor style blendor motor. But I have a feeling it something along those lines. Can't tell ya for sure with out more knoweldge of other stuff thats going on with the hvac system.

 

i said the blower motor since with my car i can feel air coming out the deffoger, but its not like its pumping out its just heat u feel coming out.....idk if thats the same case as the thread starter....maybe he/she can clear that up for us...

 

check the vacuum line and check valve at the Evap box near the computer. It's blowing out the drfroster because there is no vacuum pesent
