I was wondeirng if anyone would know why when i turn my a/c switch or fan nothing happens. You cant feel any air comming out of the dash or here the ac kick in. However if its on defrost and temp to hot while driving it will defrost the window and get warm in the car. Ive checked all the fuses which are fine. The only thing im wondering about is the vacumm tank in the driver side lower fender if that is not connected will that stop the a/c from working? or is that just for cruise control?

wel... does the fan work? if you turn it just to fan will ari blow? and if its on ac will air come out just not cold.. and the compressor wont come on? thats what mine is doing.. not sure whats wrong with mine.. tried to bypass the sensors and such to get it to come on but it didnt work.

don't call it teh ac.. call it the blower.. no matter what you get NO air coming out ny where or on any speed??
if you checked all the fuses and they are all good you need to check for hot and ground at the blower motor and go from there

damn contacts... sorry about the "teh".. I do that a alot.. you need to get a testlight and check for hot and ground at the blower motor.. it's a 2 wire connector with constend ground on one wire and then different amounts of Hot at the other... if you have that then the motor is bad.. if you don;t have any you need to see fif you have any power coing out of the heater control unit in the dash...

the AC in my 94 3.4l Slowmaro
Blows fine but not cold.... i can get Hot air but not Cold ???
what's up with it do i need it recharged ? ??
oh and when i turn it off it makes this CHHHHHHH powering of air sound

does your compressor come on at all?? you could possibly have a leak in the sysem and when there is little to no freon in the system the compressor will not kick on.. could also be the pressre switch.. fuse.. lots of things.
best thing to do is to take it to a shop and have them see if there is enough pressure in the system.. if there is not then you have aleak and need to find it.. if there is you ahve either an elctrical problem or a locked up comprssor ect ect ect
