Question 98 3.8L Performance help

Hey guys,
I know there are other threads with basicaly the same question but I'm looking for some new suggestions.

I am looking for something to buy for my car to increase my HorsePower. I have the CAI and Exhaust. I want to spend only around $200-400. I can only do so much on my own with my common knowledge.

-I have been looking at some headers but I'm worried about not having enough "resources" (spark plugs were a pain in my @$$) to install them and I have no shops(affordable) around my house to install for me.

- Is there an aftermarket throttle body made for my car? Would a throttle body spacer even be worth it?

- Is there any underdrive pulleys that are made for my car? If so, can you point me in the right direction?

- Any other ideas that I havent already mentioned that would be worth the $$$$?

Once again thanks for helping out, I'm out of ideas and want to make my car faster.

1. no and no

2. i think zzp might make some pullies, but they will show close to nothing in power/speed improvement
3. a posi traction and some nice 3.73 or hell even 3.42 will definetly wake the car up.

otherwise, Id go with headers man. When i got my headers on, even untuned You can feel the difference.

rear 373

I put a 373 rear in out of a 2000 z28 bolt right. I had 323 made big difference. would recommend doing that. I think rear cost $400 used. That was with rotors, calipers, pads and all lines. I buy some stuff from F-body in Bristol pa. always have good items for sale just have to keep your eye out for items you want. or call them see if they have item you want.

Buy a basic NX Nitrous Express EFI kit. It comes with 50 and 75 hp jets. Your motor should easily be able to handle the power increase if it's in good running condition. You should definitely be able to feel an extra 50-75 horses! The kits kits listed in Summit for $400. I got my kit for $300 (brand new) from a fellow member on the thirdgen.org classifieds.
