97 v6 same as 98 v6?

I was wondering if anyone knew if the engine from a 97 grand am 6 cyl is the same as a 98 camaro 6 cyl? Does anyone know, or know how to find out??

I think 97 Grand Am's have a 3.1L

Camaro's have had a 3.8L since '96

even if you got a 3.8 FWD engine, you would have to convert to the RWD heads and intake and accessories to make it work in your car.
