97 3.8 leaking coolant need help!
I pressurized the cooling system on my car and can see coolant dripping from the bottom of the belt tensioner (where the spring is housed) and then onto the water pump. Do any of you have any ideas where the coolant leak is most suspect?

You can see the leak (wet spot here) This is the area between the water pump and spring tensioner. I took the whole braket off and noticed a coolant stain directly under this 90 degree elbow as well as coolant puddled where the elbow slips into the aluminum housing.
shouldn't there be o-rings on this pipe? Or does that larger band seal it, you can also see a small chunk missing out of this elbow that goes into the bottom of the intake manifold.
anyone have a picture of this elbow (a new one) that I can compare mine to?

Here is the elbow after pulled from the bracket. the end is the same as the one that went into the intake manifold, same larger band at the end of it. Is this larger band all that seals this elbow ??? I would have thought there would have been a o-ring or something on it but perhaps this larger band is all that seals it.
Anyone know for sure?????

I took a peek at my car and sorry, I didn't pull on it to check as I don't want to cause any new problems as my car is almost reaching it's 13th birthday. But if you don't see any type of gasket or anything, or even any residue of gasket, then I would suggest at least to put some silicone gasket around the tip and then insert it back.

crumb !!!!! 152.00 bucks for this part but it should solve the problem. My tensioner was weak anyways so to replace that you have to buy this complete part because the tensioner is integral to this part and does not unbolt like others you have see.
you can clearly see why my elbow was leaking. The o-ring sections have broken off on mine. I'm not sure how to get this part out of my intake manifold though.
