95 camaro 3.4 noises

I just picked up a 95 v6 camaro last week at good price and have been noticing when you turn the car the electronics seem to slowly come to stop, if the wipers are left on when you turn it off they will slowly come to a stop after a few seconds and the radio makes some really odd noises, doesn't seem to matter on where the volume is or anything. Could this be a battery problem, alternator, or possibly ignition switch?

How do you check dtc codes on it, i have a obd2 scanner and i have a scanmaster in my trans am, it's a 94, is there anyway to get the scanmaster to read the codes on the v6.

Sounds like a alternator problem, maybe even just a loose wire. I'm not to sure if all camaros come with it, I forgot what it is called, but it is the module that stores power to keep like the radio on and stuff when you turn off the car until you open the door. That might be going out.

I am about 90% sure that was on cars after 95 not as old as 95.

I woudl check the alternator, I had horrid problems with my alternator cable corrodeing, I had to keep spipping it and rehooking up a connector once a month I gave up and bought a think *** battery cable, with pre fabricated ends and hooked it up in place of hte stocker no problems since.

Sound like maybe hte power steering is taking power away form the rest of the accesories. Might want to check the fluid on the power steereing maybe the pump is going out and putting added strain on the belt? Doubt that woudl do anything because you woudl hear it sqeauling.

by the way your 95 is an obdI with an obdII connector, you might try it but I doubt it will work. Seems like we have problmes getting codes scanned on 3.4Ls easily.

Retained power accesory or something along those lines. Do the wipers come to rest at their off position, or just slow to a stop where ever on the window?
