Hey guys,

I'm just curious here. I've been wanting to do the dual outlet exhaust look again on my 1994 3.4L. A few years ago I tried the stock Z28 exhaust with the Z28 tips and it look great I thought...I just didn't care for how the exhaust 'hummed' louder when driving and taking off. SO, I'm wondering...

What would be a good muffler for the 3.4 that would give the same quiet sound as the single outlet 3.4 stock exhaust, but have dual outlets that I can put some nice tips on?

I'm not looking for any performance gains or any loud sound, just looks. And like I said I tried the Z28 stock exhuast and that still was a little loud for my taste.

I was wondering too... did the Camaro come in the RS style back in 1994/95? I know they had dual outlet exhaust that wasn't obnoxious.

Anyway let me know if y'all have any ideas about a quiet dual outlet muffler to replace the stock on my 3.4L. Thanks...

maybe get the z28 catback again and have a muffler shop weld a resinator in somewhere between the cat and the muffler

 

my flowmaster 40 series is REAL quiet on my 3.8......well when the cutout is closed anywayz...

 

My '98 v6 came with a stock 2 outlet muffler. (y87 car) It was quiet. I think I still have it somewhere...

It may seem that your car is quiet, but it's really not compared to other cars. I have a 94 that I just bought with the 3.4, and it sounds like a monster compared to my mom's mustang. It's all stock right now and it still sounds like a monster compared to our other cars with it's single pipe.
