I used to have a 1992 prelude. 2.2L version. Was a pretty quick car, even beat a GT mustang to about 60mph. it had 135hp stock with 140something tq. preludes had 3 engines a 2.2L 135hp, 2.3L (dohc) 160hp then the 2.2L (vtec dohc H22a) was introduced in 1993 with 195hp.

funny, this kid at my school with a 92-93 prelude and he wants to race me in my 98 3.8l Y87... who do you think would win. Im sure I could, but Im not sure what year and what engine hes got.. probably doesnt matter, but Im just curious.

 

1999 was there first year for a 200HP car. if its anywhere older than 1999 than you got him. plus i think Y87's come with 3.43 gears? im prolly wrong but ?
