anyone heard of a 4th gen with a 427?

 

Yes, the ZL1's have a 427 in them. At least the Stage 3 cars have it, not completely sure if the Stage 1 and 2 car have it...

I'm sure somebody w/more accurate info will pitch in later.

A guy I know in Lexington has a 98 Formula with an MTI stroked 427 LS1. You can find him at kyfbodies.org and ls1tech.com His name is NastyC5. I checked it out the other day, and with the new cam he's getting it will be pushing around 533+ rwhp. It runs like a 10.4 in the 1/4 currently. Can't wait to go for a ride in it

 

I believe GMMG did 69 ZL1 Supercars...

They are 427 cubic inch LS6's pushing 600 HP at the flywheel...

I saw about 10 of them at the F-body gathering at the National Corvette Museum last weekend.

I bought my wife the car she wanted at the time, a 2001 Camaro V6, M5 and now she's kinda wanting more power....The dealer shoulda had a V8...LOL..

I worked on a car (friend of the faimly, I worked on the bottom end and heads) of a 1997 Z/28 that had a 427 BBC in it. there was nothing but frame in the front but, hey, he ran 9/10s with it
