I have been looking everywhere and cant find a turbo charger. I have a 1999 Chevy Camaro 3.8l. I want to get a turbo for it. Does anyone know where i can find one? Cand you copy and paste the link??? thanks

 

are you talking about a roots or a whipple style supercharger? or are you wanting to go turbos?

 

im wanting to turbo it, unless theres a good supercharger out there

 

your turbo kits will be all custom made. you will have to make it yourself as far as i know.

going with the turbo route you would have to custom run your exhaust and intake lines put in a intercooler. and yes there are supercharger kits for the camaros/firebirds. google d-1sc and that will get you in the right direction. then you still need to run your intake lines and put on an intercooler.

 

i googled d-1sc but i only came up with a supercharger for the ls1

 

Yea your gonna have to custom if you want a turbo. Bought mine off ebay but ur gonna have to modify some things and put it together urself. I'm not sure about the superchargers. I havent had any luck, I have only found them for the V8.

 

i believe powerdyne makes a centrifugal supercharger for the 3.8L. Its hard to find performance for the V6 fbodies because the V8's have alot more potential. There is one member that i know of who has a yellow turbo'd V6. Forgot his user name though. "Viper" something i think

 

oh guys i know another supercharger site go to rksport.com and enter year etc. they have good body kits as well

 

If you really have to ask then I dont think putting a turbo on your car is a good idea.
