So my daughter calls broke down on side of highway on 90 degree day today. Ends upt eh coolant elbow under front of intake let go, dumped coolant. I assume it overheated even tho she said she pulled over right away, etc. Anyhow, now it knocks when you punch the throttle at idle, etc. Seems to run fine but has engine noise it did not before. Any ideas or did the engine get toasted?
