Question 3.4L Stock gap

Does any one know what the top and second piston ring gap is on a stock 3.4L or the normal gap for a approx. 3.5'' - 3.7'' bore with cast pistons?
I was reading in advanced tech and started thinking, My very new 3.4 + boost = bad.
Not enough ring gap.
That would explane a lot of imports spiting out chunks of piston right after some one slaps a turbo with to much boost or a lot of nitrous on a stock bottem end n/a import engine in good cond. (with there "tight tolerances" ) and start upping hp. Then for no reason the piston comes apart with nothing going wrong as far as air:fuel, running lean with nitrous, no over revv or the ecu cutting fuel or spark.

They have to be in the bore and measured with a feeler gauge.
If you don't have a bare engine or some kind of pipe laying around that just hapens to be 3.62'' I.D. you could stick the ring in a head gasket and get an idea of what it should be.
