3.4l muffler removal?
I was thinking of removing my muffler on my completely stock exhaust would it give me some horsepower? torque? or better sound.
COMPLETELY STOCK, REMOVING MUFFLER REPLACING IT WITH 2 1/2" TUBING ADDING TWO 3" TIPS JOINED TOGETHER AT THE STOCK TIP.
IDEAS, COMMENTS OR CONCERNS????

You will see little gains if any. The stock cat-back is highly restrictive. Your better off with replacing the cat-back with a after market one. Hell just unhook your cat-back and dump it after your catalitic converter you would see a bigger gain there then buying a muffler. If you want to take to cheap route.

Best sounding setup I had was a stock Z28 exhaust, gave decent power, and sounded pretty good, got a little Rice-o-roni up top but wasn't too bad.
