Thumbs up 3.4 Turbo

i read on another website that they are in the process of making a 3.4 turbo kit..should be around $2000-$4000 dollars. which includes 3 stages....what do you guys think? stage 1 is just a garett turbo...stage 2 is a garett turbo with an intercooler..and stage 3 is the same as stage 2 just polished piping.

possible??

Well anything is possible........but at what price.

If they say it will fit, I would call them up and get some specs from them

what is the name or the company that is producing that turbo kit? i am trying to design a kit for the 3.4 right now. i am not sure of a price, but, it will us a stock style grand national turbo, wastegate, and intercooler. the kit doesn't have a price yet but will be in the 1800 to 2200 dollar range. this kit probably will be hardware only though, no ecu... is there a big market for these?

[i]is there a big market for these? [/B]

there is definitely a lot of interest on the boards. There is really nothing out there for turbo's. All custom jobs.

post on camarov6.com and fbodyv6.com to check for yourself.....you might be surprised about the interest

Maybe two stages....

Stage I-enough boost and power as so the engine doesn't need to be "beefed-up"

Stage II- .....no limits.

make sure the turbo kit you are seeing is for a RWD 3.4L

I have seen turbo kits for 3400 v6s in FWD cars like the Grand am.

also for the DOHC motor.

Not trying to put you guys out of buisness or anything, but a mass produced kit is already out there for us 6ers. http://www.force-fed-fabrications.com/ is the site, and its run by Tiago from the camarov6 forums.

Re: 3.4 Turbo

I'd get a stage 1 in the not-too-distant future if it costs $2,000 or under. I've seen ones go for almost as much as my car ($5,000). But how much would it cost to install it after I bought it?
