3.4 to 3.8
ok guys i know its not worth it in the horsepower part but this would be my first project and it would only cost me 600 for the 93 camaro that has a blown 3.4 in it and auto trans im going to make it manual and want to let you have the donor car already i just want to know can it be done before i start spending money down the drain..
If you know it's not worth it, why would you bother? I doubt anyone has ever done it before. I dont know what it would take, but ideally all the mounts and drive-shaft and everything would bolt right in since the cars are almost identical, but I doubt that to be the case.
If I were you I would just shop around until you found the car you wanted and get it, even if you had to borrow a little money.
As slow as this board is, it will probably take weeks to get a decent answer to your question.

It could be done you will need the right PCM, Wiring diagrams for both cars. Both wire harness's to make into one wire harness. It will be a lot of work, and it won't be worth much money when it's done. If you just want something to learn this stuff on the worst thing that could happen is you will have to part it out, or just drive it till it dies.
